OKinUK is a dynamic company made up of people from the UK and other countries. We are based in London, Germany and The Netherlands and are passionate about inter-cultural exchange, travel and enabling people to get to know the UK.

We have worked in international exchange, international recruitment, worldwide sales, finance, IT, design (we are a mixed bunch!). We felt a resource to help people understand the UK and everything it has to offer that was up-to-date, interactive and practical was missing. As we have lived and worked in the UK and other countries we had personal experience of the kinds of things you want to know - and so we created OKinUK. 

OKinUK gives information that is useful when planning a move to the UK and beyond. It also provides a great insight for the more serious tourist or business visitor - so, if you want to understand why we aplologise when someone else bumps into us, business etiquette in the UK, or why we do so much DIY - this is the site for you. 

The company was formed in July 2006 but really came to life in Summer 2008. We are able to provide good quality information at no charge to you because we are funded by advertising.
