City Guide London
London
London; the biggest, loudest and busiest place on earth is hard to get to know well. Many of us have lived here our entire lives, yet still haven’t managed to explore this city completely.
But for the traveller the main attractions are well documented. Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Westminster Abbey and the London Eye are all easy to get to; all you need is a map, a travelcard and a comfortable pair of shoes.
But unless you have friends living here then getting to know the real London is not easy. The street layout is a mess, the buses are a complete mystery, and almost everyone you talk to here will probably have been in London only slightly longer than you.
So you need a quick and easy explanation of London’s most attractive areas, by someone who knows the city well and isn’t trying to sell you anything, just offering a simple straightforward guide to the places that really matter.
This guide divides London into small manageable sections. Each one will take either a day to explore or an evening to enjoy.
